The Loudoun County School Board passed a reconciled budget to make up for the $16 million cut handed down by the Board of Supervisors.
Here is a list important items that were preserved under the budget:
- Tier system for employees under 30 hours was grandfathered. All present employees will retain their present benefits.
- Retirement health care changes will be postponed until June 30th, 2014
- 2% pay raise for all employees
