Do you have student loan debt? If you do, you're one of 40,000,000 Americans that do so too. The average college graduate leaves school with over $29,400 in loans and these numbers are continuing to rise to a crisis level.
To help address this issue, the Loudoun Education Association is partnering with the National Education Association to offer a "Degrees Not Debt" seminar here in Loudoun County. Michael Schoettle, NEA's National Coordinator on the "Degrees Not Debt" Campaign will be joining us to explain how you could save money through Income Driven Repayment Plans and/or Public Service Loan Forgiveness.
Registration is required, due to limited space.
Date: Thursday, October 13
Time: 4:30 PM - 6:30PM
Location: Harper Park Middle School, Library
Address: 701 Potomac Station Drive, Leesburg, VA 20176
Note: The seminar is open to all LCPS employees so feel free to forward
this message on to other colleagues who could benefit from this seminar.
